Trying to finish up the week on a good note this week. So far this has been the only bad week in the NHL to record and it can only get better!!! Here is how I like tonight.
5 Units Nashville +1.5 -110
By looking at Nashville’s 2-12-3 record this season you’d have to assume they’re playing poorly, but the Predators have played very competitive hockey this season. Nashville has lost by two or more goals in just three of their first 17 games this season, and they’ve won three of their last five at Chicago. The Blackhawks play tough at home, but still they’ve won just three of their first ten games at home this season by two or more goals!!!
5 Units Atlanta UNDER 5.5 -105
Both of these teams are playing decent hockey now after getting off to awful starts this season. The turn in each teams season came when they decided to make a commitment to playing a defense first style of play. The Ducks have gone over the total in just one of their last nine games with an average of just 4.2 goals scored per game during that span. Atlanta has gone over in just two of their last eleven games overall, and in they're last games at home an average of just 4.2 goals has been scored!!!
5 Units Dallas –1.5 -115
The Jackets beat the Stars 4-2 in Columbus on November 1st, but I like Dallas to get their revenge for that loss tonight. The Stars are 6-1 at home this season, and five of their six home wins have come by two or more goals. Dallas is 4-0 in their first four games at home against the Columbus, and all four of those wins have come by two or more goals, as they’ve outscored the Jackets here 14-3!!!
